This is a genuine Thunderbolt 4 Universal Smart Dock 40B0 40B1 docking station. It is in good cosmetic condition (around 80-90% new) with normal signs of use, and all functions are working normally..
It comes with the original detachable dual-head Thunderbolt cable.
Built with the JHL8440 chipset, this dock is also compatible with other laptops equipped with Thunderbolt 3 / 4 or USB4 full-featured Type-C ports.
Brief explanation for power supply model difference:
This model is 40B0, while the 40B1 is another ThinkPad Thunderbolt 4 docking station.
They are exactly the same in daily functions.
The 40B1 is tailored for enterprise environments, allowing IT administrators to remotely upgrade firmware and manage ports.
For personal and regular business users, there is no practical difference in usage between the two models.
Both 40B0 and 40B1 are genuine Thunderbolt 4 docks.
Note: The package includes the original Thunderbolt 3 dual-ended detachable cable, which works perfectly with this dock in all functions.
Official specs list 100W PD output, but my actual multimeter test shows 20V 4.6A (92W).
If your laptop original charger is under 100W, a 135W power adapter is sufficient.
For workstations or high-power laptops, please use a 170W or 230W power supply for the dock.You can then connect the DC square port of the power cable to your laptop for charging.
